Lacks and Praises
If observed in people around for some qualities, one of these make the most of the interesting part of daily lives. This one quality is that people in everyday life admire ones around because of their own lacks and deficiencies. The more they struggle at it, more admiration effuses from them. This could also mean that the degree to which they lack, is the degree to which they admire.
One such allusion or example is the ways of the academic world. If one of the person who is finding it hard to cope up with the field of Medicine or Sciences, the buck stays with him/her. This lacking of in the fields mentioned, sets the person to admire those who are Scientists and Doctors.
One of my relatives used to admire me for having written a particular entrance test and excelling in it. This was because she had a good number of lacks and deficiencies in this field and used to lag behind, comparatively. Such a gesture set me in high standards with her immediate in-laws. The same generous admiration of hers made me acquire a lot of creditworthiness in her erstwhile family when I chose the profession of writing.
It is good to bask yourself in some or the others praises. But, this requires that you are hardworking or deserving in the least --and not more-- for receiving them. To put this into perspective, a good acquaintance of mine once revealed that what inspires him is to leave a lasting impression in the minds of everyone he meets.
This compels one to achieve great things even though the person is fully worked out or in stress. All the more, a good quality to emulate in young minds per se.
