The Dear Harmony

There exists a balance in the real world wherein every person can be harmonious with others or not. It depends on the choice of words or actions that can decide the benign influence of this balance. The weights of the balance can move either way. And, believe me, many factors that are malignant to the harmonic imbalance have to be sorted out. Even a mere gesticulation can bring in a danger to this harmony, if at all, played with. I was privy to this situation, wherein, no heed was paid to the person just giving a smile to me. As it was a first impression, the person --from then on-- thought that I was a little brash to everyone in my dealings. Even though, this was a place of worship, the lady began to develop a wrong attitude about me. This exists everywhere. May be, people want to be entertained in talks with others. But, it won't hurt if you are at good terms with everyone. Charity begins at home and if you are good with family members and neighbours, everyone becomes aware...

Invasive Politics

I had been part of a pogrom along familial lines and bore the brunt of it later on. What it did was shatter all known cordial relations with somewhat finicky emotional people. They were not so greatly bonded with me, but the aftermath of this pogrom thrust a spear down my chest. It was a proverbial can of worms for everyone involved; remember the result is the same if you are a part of this pogrom or are the one initiating it. After a long duel of words and cat calls, what remained was a fragile balance of witty retribution from both ends. Though a despicable action, the late assuaging powers of nubile brains had got the better of it. The opposing forces need not cook the dish bland, but add some sweeteners to the savouries by discharging a favour or two during the onslaught of the melee.
