I had been part of a pogrom along familial lines and bore the brunt of it later on. What it did was shatter all known cordial relations with somewhat finicky emotional people. They were not so greatly bonded with me, but the aftermath of this pogrom thrust a spear down my chest. It was a proverbial can of worms for everyone involved; remember the result is the same if you are a part of this pogrom or are the one initiating it. After a long duel of words and cat calls, what remained was a fragile balance of witty retribution from both ends. Though a despicable action, the late assuaging powers of nubile brains had got the better of it. A bad case of espionage had cropped up in the precincts of a palatial house. The snitch sabotaged many antics of the now ravaged premises. What remained was the rubble of this erstwhile heritage. Skeletons and rummage were the order of the day. Now the con has moved on to another missive of piling up ruins for doomsday. Though covert, this operation has already been rotting the bones of everyone involved- even himself. The exponent has traded cards for a more potent weapon. It being, amassing a fortune. Every argument --well, almost-- has a counter-argument that can justify the reaction to it. This is true for property usurpers wherein the debauchery done to a known person can be dismissed off as rational. They can label it as things taken from a war after rummaging the city. On a more sober note, these are war spoils. More so, the argument on both sides of the coin --good and evil-- is objective. It is on a more personal note as to which is right. Devout people have the good perspective, while others have the latter. Have your liaisons settled.

There is a kind of wanting in everyday affairs to be cool and composed. When everything around you is seemingly jumbled up and can only be spruced with a wise reaction, there can be pretty good substitutes too. Paltry differences and unaccounted hoaxes set the pace for such misguided mirages. Aridity is a base for such a phenomenon. Passage of time and healthy travails also make up for the spent reason. Tumultuous rides such as these demand strong nerves. A sense of tranquility is needed to soothe the bite of these icicles.
