Not so Friendly Tales

The victim of your enemy is a friend These are wise words. One can deplore his enemy further and leave him in tatters, if practised. Imagine, the latest victim of an enemy who took great pleasure in hurting him through all the ways possible. They could be creating divisions, dissensions, slander and abuse.. The result was total. But, what remains of the above strategy to tackle him is hurtful too. Nondescript mechanisms borne by the victim require such measures. I remember an incident to which I was privy to. A person I know was using all kinds of divisive and abusive tactics, though not physical. The person who was listening to his slander against me somehow through a bolt out of the blue was awakened from his lull and became mindful of this abuser's ample antics. I took the opportunity as welcoming and built ties with him. Soon, we forged a new relationship that was thriving. This put the abuser to shame. A victim of your...
