Space Wars

It is evident in many spheres of life- maybe, family or friends or acquaintances, there is a need of some space to be given to them. The moment that they realize us invading their personal or emotive space, all hell breaks loose. We should tread with caution and respect this great fact of their and our life. The busy world or nonchalant society adds fuel to it and sees that this is done or adhered to strictly.

I was privy to one such incident wherein, being in a difficult situation and not able to manage this great fact, was dialing the close person's number quite often. This incident demanded discretion and patience from him. But, his busy life did not allow him to. The conversation grew cold and he began to behave abrasively.

One of the first signs of this was disconnecting the call. This continued for many days and I realized that he had begun to be very irritating at me calling him. Even my presence was reviled by him, until I took control of the situation; we drifted close after a few years.

Nobody is busy and they can spare a little time for everyone's emotions and problems. But that need not be at the cost of their privacy or comfort. There needs to be space for themselves too. Be superficial and you will thrive in this world.

The only person loving you most in life is your personal Saviour and yourself. Well, mostly, as in my case.
