Occupational Feistiness

People often ask me as to why I use highfalutin words from my vocabulary everywhere. The reason is the same as to why they wear clothes that reflect the style quotient or make a fashion statement. This way, people please their senses and feel on common ground with their peers or colleagues from their profession.

Another reason is that I identify myself with a strata of people who share common opportunities. This makes the endeavour more relatable and work towards it to reach a goal that would otherwise not be possible without such beautiful people.

More so, there is a benefit for readers from such a good vocabulary: they learn new words and try to use them in their conversations. Many follow my writing and banter for this. It brings them some joy and good. Spreading cheer is good too.

As some highly placed person said, 'everything has a reason'.

Favour Mirabilis

People do remember favours. But, it depends on whom you lavish a favour on. A materialistic person may ascribe your generosity to things such as money, attire, job or status as important. This casts a shadow on the love you had showered on him regardless of the type of a favour. I can recall an incident in my life wherein the  person was in need of love. He built some sort of escapist tendencies and sought it in a companion who had a sinister design for him. While the person in whom all the lacking in companionship was sought after appeared a misfit, he was woken from his sleep. A Deepening Chasm

 Old memories are good. But if they bring something of a troubled present, these emotions of yore feel rather unpleasant and one feels like less nostalgic whatsoever. This is a prevalent norm- especially in this social media-stricken world. Everybody seems to have a situation like this wherein some old friend has grown into what they don't want to become a party to. This is true. I tried to renew ties with an old friend of mine who was in a rather different phase of life then, owing to a failed aspect. He was a good and funny person to be with.
