Shifting Sand Dunes: Life Goals

Everywhere around there are examples of people investing heavily to achieve their goals since childhood. But many of these get lost in the essence till the child grows up. This is the same thing and is evident of the fact that the materialistic world is not to be desired upon or yield to.

I can relate countless incidents to this thought: One of them is a known person to me. He started early in his life and was enamored by a brand of vehicle that used to be very trendy then. But, as he started growing up, today the dream or goal has lost its relevance. To be precise, he settled with a second hand car. This is because the brand name of the car had stopped manufacturing the same.

Quite appealing? Yes. But, it is the same case with me too. But my version of the car still prevails and I can buy it some day.

It is wise to say that goals and dreams need to be set very high. This makes the saturation of it in our mind or the world less possible too. Anyways, the materialistic world was never brought into existence to remain long. Even in memories. Eternity attracts everyone more; unconsciously too.
