Changing Goal Posts: Objective or Subjective Viewpoint?

 The debate rages on in some circles about the objectivity and subjectivity of moral values and their viewpoint. Though this unbridled duel can go on and on, there are still some noteworthy points to ponder upon. Given the enormous volume of pages this debate can fill and all the inquisitive minds it can garner, there can be an effort to keep this optimum and brief. Firstly, in order that some moral values have come to be existent, there has to be some scale or reference or standard or measure to evaluate them. This standard measure or gold standard is called good and evil from time immemorial: there is divine power or God and the evil power. This reference plows down the debate that something very objective existed from eternity. It is the absolute truth or the Ancient of Days. His viewpoints don't falter or change. Subjectivity is not related to him and does not exist. He or God does not change. Everything exists for him. There is nothing dead and everything for him is living. Su
