How to be Motivated in Daily Life?

There is cut-throat competition everywhere around in the society. This demands people to be good at doing something and also impassioned in their job to avoid unnecessary stress. To carefully balance these two things and remain motivated at achieving things is the need of the hour. There are a few people who maintain being motivated and excel at things. But work is work though the stress can be cushioned in some places. Here are a few tips to do anything well with motivation: Time only moves forward One thing to understand while doing a specific task is that time only moves forward and it keeps on moving. If some time-bound task is continued enough, the time gets lesser and lesser until the work is fully done. This should be deeply etched in the mind and the mantra. Combine most loved jobs with boring ones Club two tasks which can reduce the stress. One of these tasks should be boring and the other, most loved. One such scenario is, if the person loves jogging, instead of using music d

Cogitating Humdrum

Monotony springs up an innate desire of escapist tendencies. While there seems to always exist a logical reason of not to yield to it, mostly people of such a lifestyle succumb to it. And the very memory of it lingers on in their mind like battle scars from a yonder world. I always tried and succeeded to limit or govern myself to a routine. But, in a few instances, I wandered away. Though it is human to do so, it's logically averse. There should be some discipline, but also a few indulgences to get into. Otherwise, human tendencies go awry and yield antagonistic results. As noted, for every barrier there exists an element of freedom l, in opposition.

Helping Book Reading Goals

Reading a book can be a hobby or for passionate people, profession. While a person may do it daily without being counted as a chore or burden, others can find it very challenging. This being said, reading and finishing a book completely from cover to cover can be done with a few tips. Here are some things that go in my mind from beginning at the first page and ending at the last: Curiosity I greatly enjoy reading books that evince a curiosity in me. I'm reading biographies mostly and not all the time, though. It gets you through. Goals Setting up goals for yourself can be good too. These can be: showcasing your book on the shelf, when completed; able to answer questions asked about it or the person's story; to pass time productively, or the like. Interest  Books of interest or story telling can be perfect. For kids, books with illustration can do. For adults, conversational ones work. Knowledge   To keep up with a bibliophile friend or group. These can motivate you too. Whateve

Friendship Goals

Relationships need to be nurtured with kind words and restraining oneself from speaking harsh ones if need be. Only then they take root and a prime value or longevity is established. There need not be negative feelings creeping into such a beautiful rendition of love. As a plant is grown and nurtured while it is still a sapling, the right mix of manure with warmth helps relationships like friendships grow a great deal. It blossoms into one fruitful tree with moments worth remembering and cherishable. Distance and physical absence doesn't matter. One can remain best of friends with everyone if value is offered. This is the same with every love and warmth seeking individual. One should strive to be remembered in blissful terms. Heavenly and spiritual goals are thus too. Pick any one.

The Downside of Being Learned

Learned people exact great respect and honour. But there are downsides of being learned and one has to continually being watchful of causing horrendous consequences from their finite minds. Though the quality of being learned is quite consequential, there is always the truth backing that nobody can be learned enough to know everything; there is always a lacking and more to be learned to be on the safer side. There is history that shows that people were killed for being misunderstood. One of them is Jesus Christ. Though there was ample proof that he was the Son of God, he was crucified by learned people. The reason for this act was that everyone thought he blasphemed against God by saying this. The result is disastrous. To balance this, learned people should avoid reasoning constantly and have an amount of faith to rely on: MK Gandhi was always believing that he has more to learn and his opinion about things is not final. He publicly said that he has to learn more as time passes and th

Changing Goal Posts: Objective or Subjective Viewpoint?

The debate rages on in some circles about the objectivity and subjectivity of moral values and their viewpoint. Though this unbridled duel can go on and on, there are still some noteworthy points to ponder upon. Given the enormous volume of pages this debate can fill and all the inquisitive minds it can garner, there can be an effort to keep this optimum and brief. Firstly, in order that some moral values have come to be existent, there has to be some scale or reference or standard or measure to evaluate them. This standard measure or gold standard is called good and evil from time immemorial: there is divine power or God and the evil power. This reference plows down the debate that something very objective existed from eternity. It is the absolute truth or the Ancient of Days. His viewpoints don't falter or change. Subjectivity is not related to him and does not exist. He or God does not change. Everything exists for him. There is nothing dead and everything for him is living. Su

Occupational Feistiness

People often ask me as to why I use highfalutin words from my vocabulary everywhere. The reason is the same as to why they wear clothes that reflect the style quotient or make a fashion statement. This way, people please their senses and feel on common ground with their peers or colleagues from their profession. Another reason is that I identify myself with a strata of people who share common opportunities. This makes the endeavour more relatable and work towards it to reach a goal that would otherwise not be possible without such beautiful people. More so, there is a benefit for readers from such a good vocabulary: they learn new words and try to use them in their conversations. Many follow my writing and banter for this. It brings them some joy and good. Spreading cheer is good too. As some highly placed person said, 'everything has a reason'.
